The EDCC conference will take place in the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación on the Campus of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV). The conference will be located at the 3rd floor of the building 8E (the Yellow and Red wings, see below).

A bus shuttle will be organised from the conference hotels to the conference site. You will find below more detailed information regarding the location of UPV within Valencia,  the location of the conference within the UPV campus, and the bus shuttle.

Vera Campus Site

The Vera Campus site is located to the north of the city of Valencia in a peaceful setting that borders with traditional farmland. It consists of nearly 60 buildings arranged in an orderly manner around the Agora, which is the centre of life on the campus. There are over 108 000 square metres of green spaces that house an open-air museum of sculpture.

The sports facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a sports complex, a gymnasium, a running track, a Valencian pelota court (trinquet), a cycling track and several tennis and paddle tennis courts. It has all the facilities needed to provide high quality higher education.

From the conference hotels to EDCC

A bus service will be available for all attendees at the selected conference hotels (see accommodation in the venue section of this website). In case you loose that service or you plan to get to EDCC by your own, you need to ask to your taxi to bring you to “Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Entrada de las Banderas en la calle Ingeniero Fausto Elio“, which corresponds to the meeting point 7 in the plan hereafter:

All events scheduled at EDCC conference will be located at the UPV’s Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación. This is a big complex that serves to the university as interface industries.  More precisely the conference rooms are located at the 3rd floor of the building 8E  in the Yellow and Red Cubes. The conference reception will be also placed in that location. Although the plan included above reflects the location of building 8E, the following image provides a further detailed plan of the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación, which is composed of buildings 8B, 8E and 8G.
