I just stumbled over very good resources about the Mental Health in academia, from Dr Zoë J Ayres. I think that there is a very large amount of people sufferring at work in universities, so these resources are really welcome. Thanks a lot Zoë. I add some of these resources here, but you probably want to find them all from the original web page. Click on the images to enlarge.

Don't get me wrong here: I love my job (and that's not a Stockholm syndrome) but the academic world can be very though if you're not well prepared. These posters give some hints about the kind of issues that you may encounter, to better avoid them or at least deal correctly with the problems when they arise.

Be true to yourself, take care of others, talk about how you feel with friends, and value collaboration over competition. I'm convinced that this is the only way to improve things.
