Last week, my Inria team was evaluated by the Inria. In preparation for that, we prepared a few slides that I wanted to share with you here. The first set of slides was prepared for the plenary session for weeks before that date. The second set of slides instead were prepared overnight to answer the questions that the reviewers had after the plenary session. They were intended to present one specific work that we were specifically proud of. As you guessed, we decided to present SimGrid. I first did 10 slides on the SimGrid kernel. Then, Stephane Genaud did 10 slides on how that kernel could be leveraged to simulate MPI applications. Finally, Lucas Nussbaum did 3 slides on how we hope to work on a coherent workbench for distributed applications beyond simulation.
In another set of slides, my collegues presented their work on ORWL (but these slides are not there yet).
