I was in Paris for the two last days, participating to the kickoff meeting of the project SONGS (Simulation Of Next Generation Systems), of which I'm coordinator. This project is funded by the ANR for 4 years. Its goal is to foster the research around and about SimGrid for this period.
That was very nice, with over 30 participants to the meeting. In such occasions, I always have the feeling that this is like a professional birthday party, where all your friends come and take care to what is really important to you. Ok, I admit that on the following picture it does not look like we were working together, but the picture was shot during an email-reading pause after lunch.
